Job summary

AMG & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Process Consultant to join on a full-time contract basis. The role focuses on evaluating and redesigning business processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience documenting processes, and a track record of delivering practical improvements aligned with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in process consulting, business analysis, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of process analysis, workflow design, and optimization.
• Experience mapping processes, SOPs, and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and facilitation abilities.
• Experience with ERP/CRM and BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes, workflows, and operating models to identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct process assessments, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements.
• Document current-state and future-state processes with maps and diagrams.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and costs; propose automation opportunities.
• Develop improvement strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Collaborate with leaders and teams to design effective process solutions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, guidelines, and workflow specs.
• Support process redesign, standardization, and transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate impact of changes on people, systems, and costs.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting for improvement.
• Facilitate improvement workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes.
