Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Engineering Manager, Proactive Security to set and lead platform hardening across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo. This US-remote role reports to the Director of Security Engineering and demands a hands-on leader who can drive zero-downtime security controls for AWS/GCP infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Security or Infra Platform Engineering at internet-scale organizations.
• 3+ years of technical leadership leading global teams.
• Hands-on experience hardening AWS and/or GCP at scale, with guardrails and golden image pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Set and lead the technical direction for platform hardening across cloud environments.
• Coach and mentor tech leads and engineers as a player-coach on security controls.
• Partner with Core Infrastructure, Compute, Data, and other teams to harden shared cloud substrates.
