Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. Professional Display Solutions division has a terrific opportunity for a Sales Support Engineer. This remote, field-based role supports the Mid-Atlantic region, with ideal home locations in North Carolina or South Carolina.

You will drive technical engagements, provide pre-sales and post-sales support for BRAVIA Professional Displays, projectors, Crystal LED, PTZ cameras, digital signage, and cloud-based platforms, collaborating with Account Managers and partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in professional AV, display, collaboration, networking, or IT solutions.
Strong technical knowledge of AV, IT, networking, cloud-based platforms, Digital Signage, and display technologies.

Responsibilities

Conduct customer demonstrations, technical presentations, product evaluations, PoC testing, product trainings, and solution workshops.
Collaborate with Account Managers to identify technical requirements and develop winning solutions.
Provide post-sales technical support, guidance on configuration and deployment, and assist firmware/software implementation.
Escalate technical issues to Sony service and engineering organizations as needed.
Gather competitive intelligence, identify market trends, and feedback to Product Management/Marketing.
Participate in trade shows, customer events, roadshows, demonstrations, seminars and industry conferences.
