Job summary

Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a Sales Support Engineer for remote, field-based technical sales support in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ideal candidates will reside in North Carolina or South Carolina and will serve as the primary technical resource for Sony’s Professional Display Solutions portfolio. Responsibilities include demonstrations, training, and post-sales support across BRAVIA Pro displays, projectors, Crystal LED, PTZ cameras, digital signage, and cloud-based platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience supporting professional AV, display, collaboration, networking, or IT solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV, IT, networking, cloud-based platforms, Digital Signage, and display technologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer demonstrations, technical presentations, product evaluations, and proof-of-concept testing.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and assisting with system configuration and deployment guidance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to develop winning technical solutions and to support opportunities through the sales process.
