Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time PRN scheduling specialist who can pre-register patients for appointments across multiple locations. This fully remote role requires excellent computer skills and the ability to manage high call volumes, with occasional on-site interaction at Peaks Regional Office in Colorado.

You will use multiple systems to schedule, input patient data, verify insurance, and convey preparation and location details to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent OR (4) years of revenue cycle experience.
• Minimum of (2) years of revenue cycle experience and/or (2) years of contact center experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-register patients for appointments, outpatient visits, procedures, and other department appointments.
• Transcribe external orders from physicians.
• Handle high call volumes for multiple locations and departments.
• Utilize multiple systems to perform scheduling functions as needed.
• Input patient data accurately and verify insurance benefits.
