Job summary
Koenig & Bauer (US) is seeking a Service Technician–Mechanic to travel nationwide installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing Koenig & Bauer presses at customer sites. You will interact directly with customers, listening to their needs and explaining findings to propose action plans to minimize downtime. The role requires mechanical skills, schematics reading, and safety-conscious execution. Weekend work possible; non-exempt hourly schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of related education/experience in printing/industrial maintenance or equivalent.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical CAD drawings.
Experience using hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and printing issues.
Communicate findings and recommended actions clearly to customers with varying knowledge.
Create action plans to address issues while minimizing downtime and controlling costs.
