Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Print Production Manager based in the United States. This remote role leads the end-to-end production of K--12 print materials, from finalized digital content through final printer release.

You'll manage multiple concurrent programs, schedules, vendors, quality processes, and release milestones while collaborating with Content, Editorial, Product, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Operations, printers, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in print production or publishing operations, or related field.
• Experience coordinating multiple complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of print production processes, QA, version control, release workflows, and vendor mgmt.
• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners in fast-moving environments.
• Excellent PM, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with Jira, Airtable, Smartsheet, Workfront, or similar tools.
• Experience improving workflows via automation, technology, or redesign.
• Familiarity with K-12 publishing and NIMAC accessibility is a plus.
• Experience with publishing tech like InDesign/Acrobat is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI tools and APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple print production programs from digital content lock to printer release.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, printers, and partners to deliver print packages on schedule.
• Maintain production schedules, dashboards, approvals, and release-readiness docs.
• Execute QA, errata, and release processes; identify production risks early.
• Manage cover production from request to final approval and fix print files.
• Handle NIMAC submissions and accessibility/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve tools and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and apply AI for QA and validation.
• Propose scalable improvements to reduce manual work and improve visibility.
