Job summary

One Book At A Time Publishing Llc in Addison, TX is seeking a production-focused professional to step into a key role after our longtime Desktop Publishing Manager retires. This is not a typical design job; it requires accuracy, organization, problem‑solving, and attention to detail within a fast-paced printing environment.

You will prepare customer files, preflight artwork, build impositions for digital printing, and work with customers and production staff to move jobs through the shop on

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop publishing and color management.
• Strong prepress and PDF workflow knowledge.
• Experience with bleed, margins, and imposition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer files for production
• Preflight and correct artwork
• Build and impose files for digital printing
• Create and edit layouts when needed
• Work closely with customers to resolve file issues
• Prepare files for specialty finishing, binding, foil, Spot UV, and other processes
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure jobs move through the shop
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
