Job summary

Open Road Integrated Media is a digital-first book publisher and digital marketing company with a growing print program. We are seeking a Production Editor, Print, with 2-3 years of solid print book production experience to join our production team.

This role supports our Re-Discovery Literature program, managing backlist print repackages through a full production cycle and owning the print schedule. You will work with ebook teams to ensure print-ebook alignment, in a hybrid NYC setting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of print book production experience, ideally in a trade environment.
• Ability to manage multiple titles within defined workflows and take direction.
• Excellent communication and organizational habits with proactive scheduling.
• Prior experience in POD is a strong plus; ebook-to-print workflow familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage backlist print repackages through a complete print production cycle.
• Own the production schedule for the print stage of each title.
• Coordinate with ebook editors to align print and ebook editions.
• Work in a hybrid role with NYC in-office days, coordinating with the team to meet deadlines.
