GFT is seeking an experienced Principal Substation Engineer to lead or support utility and power substation projects. You will work across high voltage substation designs (34.5kV to 500kV) and collaborate with clients to deliver reliable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer License (required).
• 15+ years of progressive design, engineering and project management experience in power/utility sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support utility and power substation projects and clients.
• Develop substation layouts and one-lines; prepare calculations and reports for clients.
• Manage technical, financial, and scheduling aspects of projects; mentor staff and contribute to proposals.
