Job summary
BECU seeks a Principal Solutions Engineer to shape the future of its lending and credit card technology ecosystem. You will bridge architecture and engineering, delivering scalable, secure solutions that improve member experiences and partner outcomes.
You will lead design, mentor teams, and drive modernization across cloud-first initiatives, collaborating with technology, infrastructure, and business units to enable growth and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
- 10+ years of information technology experience with demonstrated expertise in application design.
- Experience with Financial products and UX, integration, and API layer.
- Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) technologies.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives and delivering SDLC solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions for lending and credit card platforms.
- Translate business needs into technical designs ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Drive modernization and simplify complex systems for faster delivery.
- Lead cloud-first architectural decisions and scalable integrations.
- Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
