Job summary

Zscaler, NASDAQ: ZS, is seeking a Principal Specialist Sales Engineer to join our West team in a remote role. You will present technical solutions, gather requirements, and guide evaluations with customers, ensuring proposed configurations meet goals.

You will design test plans and drive outcomes with a customer-obsessed mindset. We seek a seasoned professional with deep network security knowledge and a proactive, owner-like attitude to navigate complex multi-year deals while collaborating

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Solutions Architect.
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or equivalent.
Proven experience selling network security technologies (SD-WAN, proxies, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, and end-user monitoring).
Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools to enhance workflows.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer goals and needs.
Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations.
Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
