Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal I&C Engineer for our Nuclear Services Group. The role focuses on digital I&C design, system upgrades, and regulatory compliance across power plant projects.

You will collaborate with teams to deliver innovative control solutions while ensuring quality and safety. The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 10 years of I&C experience, including nuclear design work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar required.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Minimum 10 years of I&C engineering experience.
• Experience on nuclear design projects.
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software in I&C systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform Digital I&C design engineering for PLC, DCS, and networked computer systems.
• Coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with specs, codes, and client requirements.
• Prepare ECPs to replace analog I&C with modern digital systems and review calculations for controls applications.
• Provide design estimates for project planning and scheduling.
• Review OEM digital platform hardware/software documentation and participate in project meetings.
• Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and support site integration.
