Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Design Group seeks Senior and Principal I&C SMEs to lead digital I&C upgrades for nuclear facilities. You will develop ECPs, perform analyses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to modernize control, monitoring, and safety systems.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in I&C for nuclear projects, experience with digital platforms and procurement, and the ability to travel 15-25% for engagements across multiple U.S. sites. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE) or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience in nuclear industry (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience in design, installation, and testing of large scale digital control and computer monitoring upgrades.
• Involvement in digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies and FAT/SAT.
• Knowledge of regulatory/industry digital upgrade standards.
• Experience with CPUs, I/O modules, fiber optic modules, network interfaces, servers, and HSI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Engineering Change Packages (ECP) to upgrade obsolete analog I&C systems to modern digital I&C.
• Support test plans and detailed test instructions; perform FMEA and reliability analyses.
• Develop specifications and requirements for procurement of computer-based I&C systems.
• Provide project estimates and collaborate with clients and teams to execute engineering activities.
• Apply regulatory and industry standards to digital I&C upgrades and ensure compliance.
