Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking Senior/Principal Instrumentation and Controls Design Engineers to join our Nuclear Design Group. The roles involve working on multi-discipline project teams to upgrade and modify nuclear power plants, with travel across sites in the U.S.

and a focus on safety, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in I&C design for nuclear plants (10+ for principal), experience with BWR/PWR systems, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 6 years in design engineering of instrumentation and control systems; 10+ years for Principal.
• Experience with power plant instrumentation and controls systems design for BWR or PWR units.
• Experience developing system requirement/ procurement specifications, design descriptions/control narratives, test plans/test procedures, and requirements traceability matrices.
• US Citizenship required; approx. travel 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop Engineering Deliverables: precise drawings, calculations, and analyses that meet codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Set the Standard: engineering documents that meet/exceed client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay on the Cutting Edge: enhance expertise in industry codes and design techniques.
• Drive Quality & Precision: deliver solutions aligned with QA programs.
• Cultivate Strong Client Connections: build trust and lasting relationships with clients.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: work with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated designs.
• Provide Field Support: on-site field work and ensure systems meet high engineering standards.
