Qualifications

• 10+ years in fire protection engineering with energy infra experience.
• BS in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Experience coordinating with AHJs, fire marshals, and code officials.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, IBC, UL 9540/9540A, UL855.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to manage multiple consultants and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on complex fire safety challenges and risk mitigation.
• Develop basis-of-design documents for fire protection systems.
• Oversee EORs, scopes, budgets, and design deliverables.
• Collaborate with electrical and SCADA teams for design consistency.
• Lead engagement with Owners and provide technical training.
• Support testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
