Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Principal Engineer to shape the Genesys Cloud CX platform, combining leadership with hands-on technical excellence. You will set architectural standards, guide integrations, and drive reliability for enterprise contact center solutions.

You will partner with Architecture, Network, DevOps, Security and Product teams to ensure secure, cost-effective, scalable delivery aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with contact center platforms and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of REST, webhooks, and event streaming.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for the Genesys Cloud CX platform.
• Define reference architectures and best practices for contact center solutions.
• Lead complex platform designs including routing, IVR, analytics, and WEM.
• Oversee integrations with CRM, data platforms, and third-party tools.
• Provide cost forecasting, capacity planning, and governance standards.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical design reviews.
