Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer for Genesys Cloud CX to design, implement, and optimize contact center solutions in a primarily remote team. You will own complex configurations, integrations, and operational support to ensure platform reliability and scale.

You will collaborate with Architects, Network, DevOps, Security, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer experiences across channels, manage incidents, and contribute to platform

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years in contact center, cloud, or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX (routing, Architect, Admin, Analytics).
• Strong SIP/VoIP and cloud telephony knowledge.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and integrations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond effectively during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Genesys Cloud CX configurations (routing, queues, skills, Architect flows, IVR, channels).
• Implement and support voice, chat, email, and messaging experiences.
• Serve as senior escalation point for incidents and complex production issues.
• Build and support integrations between Genesys Cloud CX and external systems (CRM, WFM, analytics).
• Support platform upgrades, testing, and governance processes.
