Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, finance, business, or related field.
• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns and explain findings.
• Hands-on AI experience for analytical or coding tasks using Claude Code, Databricks Genie, MCP workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring state performance reporting on quote volume, quote-to-bind conversion, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience; investigate changes.
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and distribution channels.
• Evaluate how proposed rate changes, underwriting rules, and shifts in business mix could affect growth and profitability.
• Build and maintain competitive research informing state comparisons and pricing opportunities.
• Use Databricks Genie to explore data and Claude Code to write SQL queries and scripts; automate reports.
