Kin Insurance is seeking an entry-level Pricing & Risk Analyst to help identify profitable state-by-state growth opportunities. You will transform policy, quote, and claims data into actionable pricing insights on a remote-first team, using Databricks Genie, Claude Code, and MCP-enabled workflows.

You’ll learn insurance metrics, pricing and risk analysis while collaborating with state managers and business partners to drive profitability and customer value.

Qualifications

• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns, investigate questions, and explain findings.
• Hands-on experience using AI for analytical or coding tasks and willingness to use Claude Code, Databricks Genie, and MCP-enabled workflows.
• Attention to detail and the ability to verify AI-generated results before relying on them.
• Ability to explain findings clearly and manage assignments with guidance.

Responsabilités

• Own recurring state performance reporting on quote volume, conversion, and premium metrics.
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and distribution channels.
• Evaluate how rate changes and underwriting shifts could affect growth and profitability.
• Build competitive research to inform state comparisons and pricing opportunities.
• Use Databricks Genie to explore data and Claude Code to write SQL queries and scripts.
• Deliver clear charts and concise summaries for Pricing and Risk teams.
