Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect – Security Operations to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in SOC design, SIEM/SOAR architecture, and EDR/XDR strategy.

The role splits time between presales engagements and internal practice development, including creating reference architectures and enabling content for SHI's security practice. The position is remote with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management, and travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in security operations, SOC architecture or security engineering.
• Presales, solutions architecture or technical consulting within cybersecurity.
• Willingness to travel occasionally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver SOC solutions including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR and threat intelligence platforms.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess clients’ security operations maturity.
• Translate SecOps concepts into business value for technical and executive audiences.
• Design target-state SOC architectures and incident response workflows.
• Develop internal collateral and evaluate vendor technologies.
