Job summary

SHI is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect – Platforms to lead customer conversations around container, automation, and platform engineering initiatives. This remote role may report to the Austin office as needed, with a focus on cloud-native platforms and hybrid cloud solutions.

You will develop new offerings, educate sales teams, and collaborate with CIO/Platform Engineering teams to drive business outcomes. Exceptional communication and a passion for technology are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role.
• 3+ years of experience in a presales Solution Architect role.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer/partner engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements and own the technical strategy through the sales cycle.
• Design and sell platform and hybrid cloud solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Educate sales teams on container, automation, platform architecture and hybrid cloud selling.
• Develop collateral, workshops, and materials to support sales engagements.
• Stay current on cloud-native trends and technologies to guide customers.
