Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect - Platforms to be a customer-facing expert on container, automation, and platform engineering. Remote with possible Austin, TX reporting as needed, focusing on cloud-native platforms and hybrid cloud solutions.

You will engage with CIO/CTO, Platform Engineering, SRE, and development teams to craft strategic technical directions and drive opportunities through the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Designing and architecting cloud-native platforms, including Kubernetes, across multi-cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of DevOps and platform engineering practices with Day2 ops.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud, OEMs, CNAPP and cloud-native tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales conversations and own the technical strategy through the sales cycle.
• Design and articulate platform and hybrid cloud solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Educate sales teams on container, automation, and hybrid cloud selling.
• Stay current on new technology trends and the industry landscape.
• Develop collateral, workshops, and other material to support sales engagements.
• Collaborate with CIO/CTO and engineering teams to align customer goals.
