Job summary

SHI is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect – Platforms to act as a customer-facing platform architecture expert. You will guide container, automation, and platform engineering initiatives with a holistic view of modern app platforms and DevOps practices.

Remote US-based, with potential travel to Austin for business needs. You will lead technical conversations, design hybrid cloud solutions, and develop new offerings to address customer requests and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and architecting cloud-native platforms with Kubernetes across on-prem, hybrid, or multi-cloud.
• Deep understanding of modern DevOps and platform engineering practices with Day2 operations.
• Extensive knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, DevOps, and cloud-native ecosystem OEMs and third-party tech.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences; able to document clearly.
• Experience documenting systems and diagrams; capable of delivering executable presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales engagements and own the technical strategy across the sales cycle.
• Design and sell platform and hybrid cloud solutions spanning on-prem and cloud.
• Educate sales teams on container, automation, platform architecture and hybrid cloud selling.
• Develop collateral, workshops, and lab cases to support sales engagements.
• Stay current on trends and technologies to drive business outcomes.
