Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries in Clinton, IA, is seeking a Machinery Condition Monitoring Analyst to perform predictive maintenance on process rotating equipment. Responsibilities include vibration analysis, thermography, oil and PV analysis, and coordinating repairs for safe, reliable operation.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years in refining or petrochemical settings, and strong communication skills. A Level II VI certification may be pursued; SAP and Meridium experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in refining, petrochemical or chemical process industries.
• Ability to obtain Level II Vibration Institute vibration analyst certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, interprets results and communicates recommendations for predictive maintenance programs.
• Performs equipment vibration analysis, infrared thermography, PV and oil analysis.
• Supports equipment overhaul, failure analysis and balancing of rotating components.
• Coordinates with maintenance, operations and other teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Leads safety practices and ensures adherence to LYB standards.
