Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Machinery Condition Monitoring Analyst to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on process rotating equipment. Responsibilities include vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, PV analysis, and balancing components to ensure safe, reliable operation across plant systems.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in refining or petrochemical environments, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Three years of experience in refining, petrochemical or chemical process industries, preferably in maintenance/operation of rotating or instrumentation/electrical equipment.
• Capability to obtain Level II Vibration Analyst certification after meeting requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills with SAP, MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint, Meridium.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vibration analysis and thermography on rotating equipment to predict failures.
• Perform oil analysis and PV analysis of rotating equipment.
• Balance rotating components and support equipment overhaul activities.
• Assist with calibration of test equipment and maintain records.
• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability, operations and other MCMA teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.
