Job summary

LyondellBasell in Clinton, IA is seeking a Machinery Condition Monitoring Analyst to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on process rotating equipment, including vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, and balancing. You will ensure safe operation, mentor teams, and support reliability engineers in improving plant reliability.

The role requires a HS diploma, 3 years in refining or chemical processing, and the potential to obtain Level II Vibration Institute

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years of experience in refining, petrochemical or chemical process industries preferred.
• Ability to obtain Level II Vibration Institute vibration analyst certification after meeting requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vibration analysis and infrared thermography on rotating equipment.
• Conduct PV analysis and oil analysis; balance rotating components as needed.
• Support parts inspection, equipment overhaul, and calibration activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance, reliability engineers and operations to address issues.
• Promote safety and ensure compliant, reliable operation.
