Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager - Modular for data center projects. You will lead the preconstruction phase, manage RFPs, estimates, procurement, deliverables, and client relations with the PM team.

Responsibilities include coordinating estimating efforts, bid reviews, vendor management, and ensuring project budgeting aligns with strategic goals. Strong design-build experience and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of experience as a project manager for an electrical contractor.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
• Licensure/Certifications: None required.
• Experience in management of design-build projects.
• Strong estimating and budgeting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual budgeting and tools for project qualification.
• Lead bid reviews and coordinate estimating efforts.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships and technical strategy.
• Coordinate with Product Development on proposal documents and client communications.
• Train and mentor team members and oversee deliverables.
