Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Modular – Data Center to lead day-to-day Modular project operations, coordinating with design, production, and field teams. The role includes planning, execution, and financial oversight to ensure on-time delivery within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Travel to a manufacturing plant is required. Strong leadership, cost accounting, scheduling, and procurement skills are essential to drive successful project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Five years of leadership experience in electrical construction or related activities.
• Five years of managing people and electrical construction projects within commercial, utility, alternative energy, or data center markets.
• Experience with union workforces and labor rate calculations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Modular projects and project teams from qualification through closeout within budgets and timeframes.
• Establish project execution plans and provide scheduling and coordination for each project; collaborate with product development and production teams.
• Identify project risks and develop recovery action plans.
• Manage project financials, review invoices, track budgets and productivity, and report on financial performance.
• Negotiate change orders and maintain customer and subcontractor relationships.
