Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager - Modular - Data Center to lead the preconstruction phase across multiple locations, including Edgerton, WI, Salt Lake City, UT, Houston, TX, and remote opportunities.

You will drive RFPs, estimates, procurement, and client relations with the project management team to shape winning proposals. The role requires strong budgeting, estimating, and team leadership skills, with experience in design-build projects and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred.
• Five or more years of experience as a project manager for an electrical contractor.
• Experience managing design-build projects.
• Proficiency in estimating and project budgeting.
• Ability to build relationships with clients and communicate confidently in project interviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction phase including RFPs, estimates, procurement and client relations with the PM team.
• Provide conceptual budgeting and tools to facilitate accurate project qualification.
• Coordinate estimating efforts on bids including front-end document review; lead bid reviews.
• Vendor and subcontractor management; review and implement technical strategy for proposals with PM/Production teams.
• Coordinate with Product Development on proposal documents and ensure turnover of project documents to PM team.
