Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager for modular data center projects. The role leads the preconstruction phase, overseeing RFPs, estimates, procurement, deliverables, and client relations with the PM team.

Located remotely across multiple sites with a competitive salary range and annual bonus eligibility. The PCM will coordinate with estimating, production and product development to drive successful proposals, manage a team, and ensure accurate budgeting and bid

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as a project manager for an electrical contractor.
• Proficiency in estimating and understanding project budgeting.
• Proficiency in Accubid, PlanGrid, Excel and Bluebeam.
• Experience managing design-build projects.
• Experience in safe, reliable and integrity-driven work habits, including unsupervised field work.
• Strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and train others.
• Ability to build client relationships and communicate in project interviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFPs, estimates, procurement, deliverables and client relations with the project management team.
• Provide conceptual budgeting and tools to qualify projects.
• Coordinate estimating for bids and lead bid reviews; manage estimators.
• Vendor and subcontractor management; implement technical strategy for proposals.
• Coordinate with Product Development on proposal documents; client correspondence.
• Lead project interviews to represent budget approach and Precon management.
