Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager for modular data center projects. The role leads preconstruction activities, including RFPs, estimates, procurement, and client relations, working with the PM team.

You will coordinate budgeting, bid reviews, and vendor management while guiding the design-build process and ensuring accurate proposals. This position supports multiple site locations and offers a competitive package and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience as a project manager for an electrical contractor.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating and project budgeting.
• Experience managing design-build projects.
• Strong client relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction budgeting and bid reviews.
• Coordinate estimating efforts and front-end document reviews.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
• Train and mentor project team members.
• Ensure smooth turnover to the Project Management team.
