Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support State & Local Government, Higher Education and K-12 in South Dakota. You will present and articulate HPE Networking capabilities, qualify opportunities with Territory Managers, and drive engagements to closure.

This predominantly remote role requires strong sales, technical, and consultative skills, with travel within the territory. Experience with Aruba or Juniper networking and CWNA/CWDP/CWSP is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure engineering and pre-sales support preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to design and manage complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage account and partner responsibilities in the assigned territory.
• Provide optimal hardware, software and services solutions.
• Lead technical presentations for customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with vendors to drive demand generation events.
• Maintain sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
• Provide consultative support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver detailed product specifications and architecture designs.
