Job summary

Axon is seeking a Sr Manager, Sales Engineering to lead pre-sales engagements and drive technical advocacy across customers and partners. The role requires strong presentation skills, SaaS sales experience, and deep networking/Linux knowledge. Travel up to 50% is expected as part of customer engagements.

You will coordinate POC activities, develop SOWs, and position Axon solutions against competitors while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Support teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years customer-facing pre-sales or consulting background required.
• Experience selling SaaS based solutions.
• Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent field.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales conversations with IT departments and channel partners.
• Coordinate POC/Pilot activities and assist with configuration.
• Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Professional Services.
