Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate or Of Counsel for a fully remote position available nationwide, including Miami, FL. The role handles pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.

Key duties include responding to demand letters, assessing claims, engaging with clients and carriers, participating in settlements and mediations, and collaborating with the Professional Development team to deliver high quality work

Qualifications

• Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Good standing status.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• At least 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
