Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position available nationwide, including New Orleans, LA. The role covers pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.

The candidate will independently respond to letters, assess claims, and interact with clients and carriers. For Of Counsel, first chair responsibilities and extensive California employment litigation experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the CA state bar and in good standing.
• JD degree required.
• 4+ years of California employment litigation experience for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and legal research skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters and requests for records.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
