Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote position available nationwide, including Boston, MA. The role handles pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, records requests, and agency charges.

Requirements include California State Bar admission, good standing, 4+ years of California employment litigation for the Associate track, or 9+ years for Of Counsel with first chair experience, plus strong drafting and communication skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• JD required and bar admission in California.
• Good standing status.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, research, and drafting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
