Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Pre-Litigation Associate (Of Counsel or Associate) for a fully remote position available nationwide, including Pittsburgh, PA. The role handles pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.

Duties include responding to letters and records requests, assessing claims, direct contact with clients and carriers, mediations, and collaboration with the Professional Development team.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Admission to the CA State Bar and ethical compliance.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel level with first chair capacity.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance demands and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, legal research and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
