Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote role available nationwide, including Dallas, TX. The position focuses on pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.

The candidate will assess claims, provide client and carrier analyses, and engage in direct communications for response handling, settlements, and mediations while collaborating with the Professional Development team.

Qualifications

• Admission to the California State Bar and good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role consideration.
• At least 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel level consideration.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
