BCG Attorney Search seeks a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote role available nationwide, including Baltimore, MD. You will manage pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency charges.

The ideal candidate has CA bar admission and substantial employment litigation experience; Of Counsel requires 9+ years and first chair capacity, with strong drafting, research, and client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation.
• For Of Counsel level, 9+ years of relevant experience and first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance demands, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team to deliver work products to clients.
• Complete client and firm-related administrative tasks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
