Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field required.
• 4 to 6 years of directly related experience required.
• Experience with clinical trials and budget interpretation.
• Negotiation skills with sponsors are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete pre-award financial activities for clinical trials.
• Create Medicare Coverage Analysis and internal cost budgets.
• Negotiate clinical trial budgets and payment terms.
• Liaise between researchers, sponsors, and central offices.
• Provide weekly budget updates during pre-activation and amendments.
• Gather protocol data for subcontract execution with external vendors.
• Execute pre-award grants administration per federal guidelines.
• Lead grant and budget development for efficiency and compliance.
• Manage grant applications and track final proposals and renewals.
• Resolve complex issues related to grant and contract administration.
