Financial Coordinator (12-Month Contract | Fully Remote)

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to join our clinical research team in a fully remote, 12-month contract role. This position has evolved beyond traditional finance support—offering a strong blend of financial management, project coordination, and operational oversight.

Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)

Note: This is a contract role with no intent to convert to full-time

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in clinical research
• Oncology experience (required)

Hands-on experience with:

• Budget management & adjustments
• Study start-up activities
• Quality Control (QC) processes
• Project coordination or project management
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal oversight

Systems Experience

Familiarity with:

• Encore CTMS
• Florence (preferred)
• CS-RAMS (training provided if needed)
• IRB systems: Advarra / WIRB (Cedars‑Sinai IRB experience is a plus)

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Budget Management

• Build and manage study budgets, including MCA transcription and adjustments
• Track financial performance across multiple studies
• Support agreement negotiations and manage payments/reimbursements
• Validate patient visit data for accurate billing

Project Management & Oversight

• Own study trackers, timelines, and reporting
• Provide weekly updates for PI meetings (progress, risks, ETAs)
• Ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time

Study Start‑Up & QC

• Support non‑regulatory start‑up activities
• Perform QC and consistency checks across systems and documents
• Submit and manage studies within CS‑RAMS
• Upload and maintain documentation in Latitude
• Partner cross‑functionally with regulatory teams, leadership, sponsors, and vendors

Administrative Support

• Manage shared inboxes and coverage analysis submissions
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs

Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

• CITI ICH GCP Certification
• Good Clinical Practice / Biomedical Research credentials
