Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a Pre-award OnCore Financial Analyst to translate clinical trial budgets into OnCore requirements. You will work with the Systems team to ensure accurate funding terms across federal, foundation, and industry sponsors.

This 6-month+ position supports budget communications, explores RAMSeS/ALICE/CRMS interfaces, and delivers end-user OnCore guidance while coordinating with UNC Health and trial teams to keep study activations on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area.
• Experience implementing or maintaining financial components of clinical trials in OnCore or similar systems.
• Knowledge of clinical trial budgets, payment terms, and billing analyses.
• Understanding cross-functional hand-offs in trial activation processes.
• Ability to provide end-user guidance on financial systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into OnCore implementations and optimizations.
• Ensure budgeting terms align with Clinical Trial Agreements, Amendments, and billing analyses.
• Identify and remedy OnCore or Epic system-related financial issues.
• Support cross-functional hand-offs to keep study activations on track.
• Develop and deliver end-user OnCore support and training.
