Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: Medical Billing/Coding (3 Years)
• Certifications: CPC and RHIT preferred but not required.
• Experience with insurance terminology and eligibility processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in daily activities and prioritize tasks.
• Coordinate eligibility, benefits, and referrals, including pre‑arrival alerts.
• Obtain and document referrals and authorizations; communicate with payers.
• Provide staff training and support to improve processes.
• Interact with patients regarding self‑pay status and financial options.
• Refer patients to financial counselors.
• Review registrations and related billing issues.
