Job summary
SM Systems, based in Nashik, seeks a skilled sales engineer to manage Bhopal region for cables, fault location and monitoring solutions. You will handle quotes, tenders, site trials and customer training, driving growth with channel partners and direct accounts.
You bring 5–6 years of B2B technical sales or hands-on experience, with strong English and Hindi, and a willingness to travel within the region including Nashik for training.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics is required.
- 5–6 years of B2B technical sales or hands-on application, commissioning or service work.
- Experience with cables, substations, switchgear, T&D, test & measurement is ideal.
- Good written and spoken English plus Hindi.
- Willing to travel within the region and occasionally to Nashik for training.
Responsibilities
- Own sales and technical support in Bhopal and nearby districts for utilities, railways, defence, industrial plants and EPC accounts.
- Identify new accounts, meet engineers and purchase teams, and manage enquiries through to quotes, tenders and orders.
- Understand customer needs and propose the right test/monitoring solution; prepare offers and respond to tenders and RFQs.
- Run demos, site trials and commissioning of fault location, testing and transformer monitoring systems.
- Train customer engineers and provide first-level support with escalation to principals, and maintain CRM records.
