Job summary

SM Systems, based in Nashik, supplies power and utility test and diagnostic solutions. We seek a sales-focused BE/BTech Electrical professional to own sales, handle technical support in Hyderabad, and manage tender processes with a regional team.

You will meet engineers and purchase teams, run demos, and train customer engineers, with travel across the region and occasional visits to Nashik for training. Strong English and Hindi are expected.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech Electrical or Electrical and Electronics with 5–6 years in B2B technical sales or hands-on application, commissioning or service work.
• Existing contacts in utilities, railways or industry in Hyderabad.
• Comfortable with tender and empanelment processes and site safety procedures.
• Clear written and spoken English plus Hindi.

Responsibilities

• Own sales and technical support in Hyderabad and nearby districts: utilities, railways, defence units, industrial plants, and EPC and contractor accounts.
• Find new accounts, meet engineers and purchase teams, and take enquiries through to quote, tender, order and payment.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend the right test or monitoring solution; prepare technical and commercial offers and respond to tenders and RFQs.
• Run demos, site trials and commissioning of systems.
• Train customer engineers and provide first-level support with escalation to principals.
• Report pipeline weekly, keep CRM current, and write short site reports.
