Job summary
SM Systems seeks a capable Electrical engineer with 5–6 years in B2B technical sales to drive Jammu-region accounts. You will handle quotes, tenders, and orders, present testing and monitoring solutions, run demos and site trials, and train customer engineers.
Travel within the region and occasional Nashik training are required. Candidate should have strong English and Hindi, own transport, and be comfortable working remotely without a fixed office.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech Electrical or Electrical and Electronics with 5–6 years in B2B technical sales or hands-on service.
- Experience with cable fault location, substation, switchgear, T&D, test and measurement is ideal.
- Comfortable with tender and empanelment processes and field safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Own sales and technical support in Jammu and nearby districts.
- Find new accounts, meet engineers and purchase teams, and handle quotes, tenders, orders and payments.
- Understand customer requirements and propose the right test or monitoring solution; prepare offers.
- Run demos, site trials, commissioning of systems, and train customer engineers.
- Provide first-level support with escalation to principals; report pipeline weekly and keep CRM current.
