ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer I–III to design, test, and maintain protective relay systems for power networks. This fully remote role requires strong knowledge of relay protection, coordination studies, and power system analysis.

You will work with engineering teams, support commissioning, outages, and field implementation, and ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI/NERC standards. ABET-accredited degree required; travel 5–30% as needed.

Formación

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure to protection and control concepts is a plus.
• FE certification preferred for Engineer II; PE license preferred for Engineer III.
• Experience with IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NESC standards is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
• Protection and control experience in utility or industrial power systems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and support protection and control engineering activities, including relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system studies.
• Develop, review, and maintain engineering calculations, drawings, reports, relay settings files, and technical documentation.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays, SCADA, RTUs, networks, and automation systems.
• Support or lead commissioning, startup, FAT, SAT, outages, and field implementation activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations, contractors, vendors, and clients to deliver engineering solutions.
