Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Technical Sales & Application Manager for Power System Protection & Control to drive revenue growth and market penetration. You will bridge application engineering, technical sales, and market development to support Electric Utility customers with advanced protection, control, and power quality solutions.

You will lead technical sales, develop territory strategies, and act as the primary technical advisor for system design and protection schemes while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent.
3–10 years in power systems with emphasis on protection & control applications.
Experience with Transformer Tap Changer, Voltage Regulator, Capacitor Controls, Recloser controls, Protective Relays, PQ meters and automation systems.
Experience working with Electric Utility Power Systems and customer-facing roles.
Knowledge of IEEE/IEC standards and protocols (DNP3, MODBUS, IEC 61850).
Ability to translate customer needs into sales strategies and product improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead technical sales efforts for protection, control, and power quality.
Develop territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical seminars.
Support complex sales cycles with application expertise and solution positioning.
Own territory planning, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
Serve as primary technical advisor on system design and protection schemes.
Collaborate with pricing, proposals, and cross-functional teams.
Travel 50% to 70% to customer sites and events.
