Responsibilities include designing power generation, transmission, and distribution concepts, reviewing specs, and communicating complex ideas to stakeholders. Travel ~25% and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or power systems engineering.
• 3–5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of electrical power system infrastructure, standards, and codes.
• Experience with cost and performance analysis for power generation facilities.
• Experience with or for electric utilities, state energy offices, or regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set objectives and create implementation roadmaps.
• Analyze energy requirements and design power generation, transmission, and distribution concepts.
• Develop and review electrical system specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Bridge ideation and practical design, guiding partners on detailed designs.
• Explain complex power systems concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support management in assessing needs, proposals, and presentations.
• Build professional networks to create collaboration opportunities.
• Travel approximately 25% or as needed.
